Anna Marie Coticelli

She was born August 21, 1964 in Passaic, NJ to the late Alfred and Joan (nee Pinkus) Kucinski. She grew up mostly in Oak Ridge, NJ. She was a graduate of Felician College. She met her husband, Ciro, while on vacation with her sister and brother-in-law in Naples, Italy in 1988. They were married in 1989 and raised four children together. Anna Marie spent the rest of her life working as a bookkeeper for her family business and always taking care of her family.

When you came to Anna Marie’s house there was always a pot of fresh coffee and she always had something to offer you. She took care of everyone with her immense motherly instinct. She spent many summers visiting family in Italy. She loved cooking, baking, Pinterest, spending time with her family, playing candy crush, researching family history and reading. She was a devout Catholic and prayed for all of her loved ones everyday.

Anna Marie was predeceased by her sister Susan, her mother Joan, her father Alfred, and her dog Bumbi. Anna Marie is survived by her husband Ciro Coticelli, her beloved children Filomena Coticelli and her husband Bryan Madsen, son Paolo Coticelli and his wife Makrina, son Mario Coticelli and his wife Julie, son Ciro Coticelli and his fiance Madara Gulbe; grandchildren Anna Marie, Bryan, Ciro and one on the way; her brothers and sisters Alfred, John, Catherine, Paul, Mary and Regina. She also leaves behind her dogs Dino, Leo and Don Ciccio and grand dogs Mack and Noli.

She always said when she died to bury her in the backyard next to her beloved dog Bumbi, but since unlawful disposal of a body is a felony in New Jersey, she will be buried at The Gate of Heaven cemetery in East Hanover.

We will always miss you mom. You have left us all with a huge hole in our hearts that will never be filled.

Visitation for Anna Marie will be held Sunday, March 17, 2024 from 4:00 PM- 8:00PM at Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ 07871. A funeral mass will be celebrated 10AM, Monday, March 18th at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 294 S. Sparta Ave., Sparta, NJ 07871. A graveside service will immediately follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgedale Ave., East Hanover, NJ 07936.
