

Don was a community dentist for nearly 40 years at his solo practice in Vernon NJ. He graduated from High Point High School, Fairleigh Dickinson, Montclair State and Rutgers (UMDMJ).
He was the husband to Susan for seventeen years, and the father to Amy (Taylor), Carley (Nick) and Haley (Andre). He was a bonus dad to Dan and Jack, who loved him tremendously. He leaves behind his brothers Richard, Michael, Chris, and sister Katherine. He was married to Nancy Mattucci previously, of whom they shared loving daughters.
Don was affectionately known as Marlin Man, Uncle Don, Captain of the Boys Chef Club (in seventh and eighth grade) and Prom King. He was a record holder in college football and continued to be an avid football fan throughout his life. He was also known to enhance and embellish his golf handicap from time to time. Don lived his life fully and would want everyone to remember him with love and laughter.
He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, dedication to his profession and a very big heart.
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025 from 4PM – 8PM at Goble Funeral Home 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ 07871. Funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, February 1st at 12PM at the funeral home. Cremation will be held privately.
