Edward H Shawger

Edward Shawger entered his eternal home in heaven on April 29, 2022. He is rejoicing to be home with his Lord and Savior. Ed's love for the Lord was shown by serving as an elder, deacon, Sunday school teacher, and youth leader at the First Presbyterian Church of Sparta. He also volunteered at Manna House, where he served on the board of directors for many years.

Born in Dover, NJ, Ed graduated from Newton High School where he worked until his retirement. He also proudly served in the Army during the Korean War.

Ed was the devoted husband of Gail and is survived by his children Kathy, Kirk, Kyle, and Sonia, as well as his grandchildren William, John, Sara, Hanna, Miriam, David, Mason, Miles, Macy and many wonderful, devoted friends. He was predeceased by his daughter Tanya and three brothers Howard, Robert, and Norman.

Funeral service will be held 2 o'clock on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at the First Presbyterian Church of Sparta, NJ 07871.
