Dr. Elliot L. Shack, 71, of Sparta, NJ passed away at home on February 27, 2012. Dr. Shack was born in Newark and received his BS from Upsala University. He received his OD from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Dr. Shack was a member of the Lake Mohawk Golf Club. He was predeceased by his son Jonathan. He is survived by his beloved wife Patricia “Timmis” Shack; 3 sons: David and his wife Suzanne, Michael Shack and Daniel and his wife Desiree. Dr. Shack is also survived by his beloved grandchildren: Alexis, Marisa, Dylan, Jason, and Samantha and his brother Robert. A funeral service will be held at 11am Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ 07871. Interment will follow at Sparta Cemetery.
