

Sparta, NJ - George A. Molinet, suddenly passed into eternal life on Monday, August 1, 2016 at his residence. He was 63. He was born in Havana, Cuba to Enrique and Carmen (Blanco) Molinet. George grew up in Key Biscayne, FL and raised his family for the past 32 years in Sparta. George’s passions included photography, cooking with his grandson, and building and flying model airplanes. He held memberships’ in the Academy of Model Aeronautics, The North Jersey Soaring Society, as well as the Federal Aviation Administration. He managed a blog for RC groups called Red Sneakers’ Blog. During his sons’ formative years, George coached his children’s little league teams and instilled in them his love of RC cars. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years; Estrella (Lagoa) Molinet, His three cherished sons; Robert and his wife Nancy of Stillwater, NJ, Bryan and his wife Linh of New York, NY, and Michael Molinet of Palo Alto, CA. Two cherished grandchildren; Reese and Peyton Molinet, His brother; Henry Molinet of Atlanta, GA, his sister; Madeleine Molinet Pacheco of Davie, FL, and nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited, Friday August 5, 2016 from 8:30am to 11:00am to Goble Funeral Home 22 Main Street Sparta, NJ followed by an 11:30 Mass at Our Lady of the Lake Church, Sparta, NJ.
