HELEN C. MYHREN 86, passed away on January 31, 2010 at Newton Memorial Hospital. Helen was born in Teaneck, NJ and lived in Sparta since 1959. Helen was a Pharmacist mate in the US Navy during WWll. She worked for many years as a Secretary at Fabricated Plastics in Morris Plains, NJ. She was active as a volunteer at the Sparta First Presbyterian Church for many years. Helen is predeceased by her beloved husband Ole and her beloved daughter Christina Dashio. She is survived by her devoted son Craig Myhren and his wife Jan; loving grandchildren Jeff and Tracy Myhren and Jennifer Moriarty and her husband Scott and Megan Dashio; beloved sister Janet Barthold and her husband Steven; son-in-law Mike Dashio and his wife Janet and their daughter Jenn Rosencrance. Friends may call Wednesday from 3-5pm at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta. A funeral service will be held at 5pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
