Janice E. Luby

Janice E. Luby, 82 , of Sparta, NJ passed away on September 24, 2010 at Morristown Memorial Hospital. Janice was born in Brooklyn, NY and has been a member of the Lake Mohawk Country Club for 40 years, moving here permanently in 1991. She was a member of the Rosary Society at Our Lady of the Lake Church, Sparta; member of the Sparta Women’s Club where she was a member of the knitting group; Janice was past co president of the Wallkill Golf Club Ladies Club. Janice is survived by her beloved husband Robert J. Luby; devoted mother of Robert and his wife Mary; Daniel and his wife Eileen, John, and Jeanmarie Cranston and her husband Michael . She is also survived by her loving grandchildren Robert, Kristen, Thomas, Kathryn, Daniel, Christopher, Valerie, and Taryn Luby and Michael, Alyssa, and Brian Cranston. She is also survived by her sister Mary Bradshaw and predeceased by her sister Katherine Schmitt. Friends may call Monday and Tuesday, September 27th and 28th from 2-4, 7-9pm at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta. A funeral mass will be held at 10am Wednesday at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 294 Sparta Ave., Sparta, NJ. Interment will follow at Sparta Cemetery.
