She was born on March 6,1943 to Isabel (Stager) Morgan. She is survived by her brother George Conlin and his wife Carol Conlin; sister Bonnie Mullen; sister Helen Lowry; brother Charles Gould; sister Kathy Hansen and her husband George Hansen; sister Carol Cowdrick and her husband Charles Cowdrick; brother-in-law Barry Woodruff, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her mother Isabel (Stager) Morgan, sister Joan Little and sister Brenda Woodruff.
From the time she was a young girl and into her adult life, Janet loved playing and watching sports such as softball, baseball and basketball. She loved spending her time outdoors tending to her garden, riding and maintaining her favorite tractor, and working in the garage. She especially loved her blue GMC Jimmy. Her peace was found in simple pleasures, like singing along to country music, entertaining us with her wit and sense of humor, and spoiling her nieces and nephews who she played a big role in raising. Her funny sayings, and her patience, helped in the guidance of their upbringing.
Janet was a dedicated, loyal employee at Morley’s Shirt Factory for forty years, until the day they shut their doors. She worked alongside some of her sisters, and made a few of her most beloved friends while working there.
A proud American, Janet showed honor and respect to her family members who served in the military. She gave her family the support they needed to succeed. She was the type of person to give you the shirt off her back and never want anything in return.
Family, friends, and others whose lives Janet touched are invited to Goble Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 12th, 2025 from 5p.m. - 8p.m. to remember and honor her life.
