Jeffrey L Syberg

Jeffrey L. Syberg, 20, of Sparta passed away on October 15, 2011 in Arusha, Tanzania where he was working for Global Service Corps., teaching HIV/Aids prevention. He was a 2010 graduate of Sparta High School where he was a member of the swim team, the marching band, and DECA. He was also active in all school musicals and a two year member of the Sparta High Lacrosse team. Jeff was a member of Blessed Kateri Church where he was an Antioch Team Leader as well as a dedicated member of Pass-It-Along in Sparta having served as a Youth Corps Service Member in 2009 and 2010. Jeff lived his life with a passion for serving those less fortunate. His love, compassion and faith will live on in those he touched. Jeff is survived by his loving parents Terry and Kevin and brother Michael, devoted grandparents Jacqueline Camuso and the late Edward Camuso, Robert and Adele Kahwaty, Marylou Syberg, and Kenneth and Cheryl Syberg. Jeff is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jeff will also be remembered by his co-workers at Lake Mohawk Country Club, Lake Mohawk Golf Club and most recently Jeff Lakes Day Camp.
