Kiernan Mairead Foley

Kiernan Mairead Foley, 34, passed away on February 6, 2017. Kiernan was born in Denville, NJ and lived at Bear Pond, NJ before recently moving to Jersey City. Kiernan’s magnetic personality, warm heart, and infectious humor reside in the hearts of those who knew her and were invaluable assets in her care for the elderly, for which she had a special calling. Music, animals and most certainly comic relief were passions and pastimes she treasured. Kiernan's unparalleled spirit and beautiful soul will always be remembered by her loved ones, including her devoted parents: Michael J. Foley and Patricia Karl Foley and loving siblings Michael P. Foley of Jersey City and sister Kathryn M. Foley-King and her husband Timothy of Glen Gardner, NJ. Kiernan is also survived by her beloved niece and goddaughter Mairead P. King and nephews Conor T., Devon and Derek King. She is fondly remembered by her many aunts, uncles and cousins and her beloved grandmother Joan Karl. Friends may call for a memorial visitation on Monday, February 13, 2017 from 1-4pm at Saint Kateri Tekawitha Church, 427 Stanhope Rd, Sparta, NJ 07871. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 4pm at the church. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in her memory to: NAMI.org.
