Larry was born in Newark, NJ to William and Helen (Bielaski) Kuzma. He currently resided for twenty-one years in Lake Hopatcong, previously living in East Hanover. Larry served his country proudly in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was employed for 43 years as an assembly leader with Automatic Switch Company of Florham Park, retiring in 2010. He was a sports enthusiast and a frequent participant at the Milton Senior Center.
Predeceasing him was a daughter, Norma Rita, in 1975, his first wife, Norma, in 1984, and his sister, Madeline O’Sullivan, in 2014. Larry is survived by his wife, Lori, for 23 years, four sons; Lawrence Jr. (Kim) of Forked River, Mark (Caren) of Caldwell, Anthony (Ruby) of MacDill AFB, Florida, and Michael at home. Four grandchildren; Kaitlin Defibaugh, Nick, Holly, and Lucian Kuzma. Four great grandchildren; Chase, Kailea, Cassidy, and Sophie. Family and friends are invited Sunday, October 19th, from 2-5 PM to Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main Street Sparta, NJ 07871. On Monday, October 20th, a funeral procession will depart from Goble Funeral Home at 10 AM; followed by an 11 AM graveside interment service at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ. Memorial contributions are being accepted in Larry’s name to the Northern New Jersey Veterans Memorial Cemetery PO Box 463 Vernon, NJ 07462.
