

SPARTA, NJ- Richard Maglin died peacefully at his residence, on Friday, December 25, 2015. Born in the Bronx, to Joseph and Lillian (Rosen) Magliacano, Richard has resided in Sparta, NJ, for the past thirty-three years. He is formerly from West Orange. He graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Richard was the proud owner for over forty years of Maglin Miskiv & Associates, CPA’s, PA where he counseled and influenced physicians in today’s ever changing healthcare environment. He was a sought after speaker for New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education and various New Jersey Medical Societies and organizations. He was recently chosen by NJBIZ as one of the 50 most powerful people in New Jersey health care. Surviving him is his beloved wife of 53 years, Ruth (Vernick) Maglin. A loving son, David, and his wife Barbara, of Sparta. A loving daughter, Leslie Manning, and her husband Raymond of Sparta. Five grandchildren; Robert Lyons, McCall Manning, Ryleigh Manning, Raymond Manning, and Troy Maglin. Friends and family are invited Monday 4~8 pm to Goble Funeral Home 22 Main Street Sparta, NJ 07871. The interment will be held on Tuesday, December 29, at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ.
