Susan Ely Fisher

STILLWATER, NJ- Susan Ely Fisher peacefully passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2014, at home with her loving husband by her side. She was 62. Susan was born in Passaic, NJ to William Jr. and Ruth (Snyder) Ely, and was raised in Sparta. She previously resided in Rutherford and Sparta prior to Stillwater in 2008. Susan was a past president of the Lake Mohawk Golf Club Women’s Association and past Treasurer of the Women’s Metropolitan Golf Association. She loved to play golf as well as bridge with friends and family. Susan was a devoted, daughter wife, mother, grandmother and sister, and she will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her. Surviving is her beloved husband of 40 years, Jeffrey Fisher. A son; Patrick Fisher and his wife Wendy of Stillwater, a daughter; Katie Renoff and husband Michael of Glen Ridge. Four Grandchildren; Emily, Luke and Lilly Renoff, and Alexandra Fisher. Two sisters; Sharon Frase and Ruth Fortune, and a brother; Harvey Ely III. Family and friends are invited for a Celebration of Life Friday 6 ~8pm at Goble Funeral Home 22 Main Street Sparta, NJ 07871.
