William L. Emery

William L. Emery, 85, of Hampton Twp., NJ passed away on August 16, 2012 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center. William was born in Blairstown, NJ and was a lifelong resident of Sussex County. He worked at M&M Mars in Hackettstown for many years retiring in 1989. Bill enjoyed hunting and fishing, gardening and all sports. Bill was a member as well as an assistant dog trainer of Beer Bush Rod and Gun Club, Deposit, NY. His most recent activity was babysitting Liam his great grandson. He will be missed of many. William is survived by his beloved wife June (nee Trudgeon) Emery; devoted father of Nancy Emery of Hampton Twp., NJ , Kim Anne Ross and her husband James of Tuscon, AZ; and William C. Emery and his wife Christina of Newton, NJ. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren Jason and Rebecca Emery, Christopher and Brandon Ross; his loving great- grandson Liam; sister Grace Banghart of Blairstown and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 11am at Sparta Cemetery, Sparta, NJ. The Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ 07871 is in charge of arrangements.
