She was born September 15, 1922 at Twin Lakes, Idaho; the oldest of 10 children born to Giuseppe (Joe) Scarcello and Angelina (Ruby) Sicilia. Anna graduated from Rathdrum High School and was a long time resident of Spokane Valley.
Anna is survived by grandson, Richard Martin; brothers and sisters, Leona (Scarcello) Kearney, Frank Scarcello, Charles Scarcello, Dorothy (Scarcello) Donahue, Dennis Scarcello; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Dalton Russell; daughter, Linda (Russell) Martin; son, Phillip Russell; brothers and sisters, Margaret (Scarcello) French, Angelo Scarcello, Dora (Scarcello) Christianson and Joe Scarcello.
Anna was with her husband Dalton through his entire Air Force career. After his military retirement, they opened up a small restaurant together in downtown Spokane. After selling the restaurant she went to work at Western States Machinery until her retirement.
Anna will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
