Arlo Gordon Huber was born to Arthur and Frieda Huber in Herreid, South Dakota. He married the love of his life Gwendolyn Cook on June 8, 1950. Together they moved to Spokane Valley, were blessed with three children, purchased a cattle ranch in Tekoa, and have celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary. Around town, Arlo was known for selling ponies, distributing Huber Candies, and his Blue Bell Potato Chip route. He started his own trucking business known as “Arlo Huber + Son, Inc.” And at age 65 he founded “Huber Trailer Sales and Service” that is still in business today and is still family owned and operated. He created a legacy that lives on through generations. Arlo lived a long, good life and was loved and admired by many. He passed away peacefully surrounded by love and family in the place he called home for the past 62 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Donna Evans, his daughter Rae Jean Johnson, and his grandson Jeremy Johnson. He is survived by his wife Gwen Huber, his daughter Gail Graves (Ron), his son Mark Huber, his sister Jean Huber, his grandchildren and his great grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held this summer at his beloved ranch.
