Billie Jo Arnold was born to Joseph Frank Rehak and Dorothy Margaret (Lucietta) Rehak in Pittsburg, Kansas on May 10th, 1934. She met the heart and soul of her life Lee Arnold at her high school graduation picnic at the Russian River in California. They started their beautiful journey together on May 17, 1953. She was a steadfast wife, nurturing mother, and inspiring grandmother. The love and commitment she had for her husband and her family was her biggest attribute.
The life she lived and instilled into others will be carried on by her three children, Mike, Kathy, and Kelly, as well as her 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. The impact she had on their lives will be remembered and appreciated always. Many considered her the glue that held it all together.
Billie Jo was a devoted catholic, who made sure we all knew the blessing of grace prayer before our meals. She had a passion and love for music, with a voice that was simply enchanting which will live on through her vinyl records. Billie Jo and Lee had an eager enjoyment of raising and breeding quarter horses. She wasn’t afraid of adventure, with a passion for aviation, nor making sure we all knew she had sass. Let's all not forget her refined taste for lemons with salt, watermelon with salt, pizza with salt, red beer with salt…..well more so anything could always use to have more salt. The memories could and will go on forever and no words could possibly amount to the person she was. All Billie Jo would ask of anyone is to keep going and to be brave.
Billie Jo Arnold went to join her husband and God on April 29, 2025. Like the selfless person she was, she made sure to say goodbye to her family first and reassure them all that they would be ok. There will be a Catholic funeral held at Eagle Point National Cemetery in Eagle Point, OR at 10:00 A.M., May 16, 2025.
