

Clara passed away Jan. 17, 2015. She was born to Evelyn and Pete Wherry in Payette, ID on Oct. 15, 1922. She graduated from Fruitland High School in 1940. She married Bill James Harm on Mar. 4, 1942. Together they had six children and also raised a granddaughter. They lived in numerous places and settled in Sedro Wooley, WA where Bill passed away Feb. 16, 2005. Clara then moved to Spokane where she lived until her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother George Wherry, sister Virginia Cullen, son Jack D. Harm on May 3, 1979 and grandson Don Lindemen. She leaves to survive her daughters Judy (Larry) Harris and Rose (Mike) Hill, sons Jim (Janelle) Harm, Bill (Lenny) Harm, John (Patti Shermen) Harm as well as special niece Joy (Dennis) Weaver and special granddaughter Brenda Britton. She also leaves 16 other grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, Bill’s sister Evelyn Fisher and several nephews.
Clara was a wonderful homemaker who enjoyed a great sense of humor. She was a master at needlework, making beautiful crocheted tablecloths, bedspreads, doilies and afghans. She loved gardening and growing her own flowers and vegetables.
She loved her children and grandchildren and was much loved by all who knew her. A visitation is scheduled Friday, Jan. 23, 2015 at 9:00am with the Funeral Service to follow at 10:00am at Hazen & Jaeger Valley Funeral Home, 1306 N. Pines Spokane Valley, WA
