Dolores Mae Skelton

(Age 92)

Dolores, passed unexpectedly, on October 13, 2023, surrounded by her family.

Dolores was born March 29, 1931, in Walla Walla Washington to Clarence and Irene Jensen. She is survived by her husband, John Skelton, son Richard Skelton (Liberty Lake), daughter Carol Skelton-Sensenig and two Grandsons, Reid Sensenig and Matthew Sensenig of Atlanta.

She loved her home of 45 years, saying, “every morning I wake to the beautiful view, and I count my blessings.” She enjoyed golfing with her girlfriends. She was past president of the Nine-Hole Club at the Spokane Country Club.

Dolores and John were married for 69 years. They loved cruising Lake Coeur d’Alene where she enjoyed serving dinners to her friends and especially sleeping overnights on the boat at Beauty Bay, and with her grandsons who visited every summer.

She was liked and loved by everyone she met or knew. We loved her so very much and will miss her dearly.

At her request, a private memorial will be held at a later date. Friends who wish, are encouraged to make donations to a Spokane charity of their choice.
