Isabel Carlson

Beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 21, 2011. Isabel was born August 17, 1921 in Cadillac, Saskatchwan, Canada to Ezra and Frances Davey. She moved to the Rockford/Freeman area in 1937. Isabel married Leigh Ohlson on November 14, 1941. She was preceded in death by husband Leigh, daughter Marcia, and sisters Reena Pierce and Ursula Davey. She married Ehrling (Swede) Carlson on November 1989. Swede preceded her in death on February 15, 2000. She is survived by her son, Rick Ohlson (Margaret) of Bremerton, Washington, daughter Wendy Sommers of Auburn, Washington, grandchildren Saunya Cortez of Monterey, California, Glenda Miller (Jason) of San Diego, California, Jamaal Sommers (Yolanda) of Bonney Lake, Washington, Nicole West (Chris) of Federal Way, Washington, brother Neil Davey (Donna) of Rockford, Washington and sister Esther Hemken of Rockford, Washington and eleven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a Memorial service at Advent Lutheran Church, McDonald and Broadway, on September 17, 2011 at 1:00PM. Rememberances may be made to Advent Lutheran Memorial Fund or the Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
