He served in the US Army honorably for 4 years before settling down.
He had a love of cars starting from go carts as a boy and building classic cars as the years went on. He was a craftsman, collector and compassionate, loving husband.
From retiring in IT repair at Sacred Heart Hospital, to fixing cars for family and proudly showing his ‘55 Chevy, Jim built more than just cars and homes for the ones he loved. He knew how to use his head, heart and hands to show love to everyone in his life.
He was a man of his word and honorable. He had integrity, patience and a wonderful sense of humor. He was steady and loyal, dependable and honest. Everyone who called him friend, agrees he was a kind soul.
“Jim” was always available for a helping hand he was quiet, intellectual. He was extremely supportive and humble. He was a loving husband, father and “Poppie”.
He was asked recently what advice you’d want to pass on, to which he replied “The advice I’d give is: don’t take yourself too seriously”.
He will be deeply missed. He was one of the good ones.
