Jim's lifelong passion was music. He started playing the piano at the age of 6 and continued on to get his Masters Degree in Piano. Jim was a gifted piano teacher of all ages, including college Master's Programs. Jim performed at all levels from the symphony to his own jazz band Cosmic Dust. He even wrote a book called "I Played it Perfectly at Home," which was published in New York.
After moving to Vancouver, WA Jim fulfilled a lifelong dream of creating, managing, and performing at a high class jazz restaurant called Ivories in Portland, Oregon. Bands from all over the world came and played at Ivories. Jim lit up when he played the piano and the light will shine on.
