Hanson, Jean H. (Age 87) – passed away October 18, 2011. Born Jean H. Johnson in Spokane, Jean graduated from Rogers High School in the early 1940’s. Soon after she met her future husband Joseph Hanson and they were married in 1945. Together they raised their son Bruce Joseph Hanson. Jean loved camping, swimming and in her later years traveling became a passion. During that time she belonged to the Corbin Senior Center and the Hillyard Senior Center. She spent time working on various crafts and even for awhile collected stamps. Jean worked for the Crescent and Sacred Heart Hospital briefly, but her focus was always being a homemaker. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her brother and five sisters. She is survived by her son Bruce Hanson. There will be a private interment at the Pines Cemetery, Spokane Valley.
