Lonny K. Jensen

Lonny K. Jensen, 64, surrounded by family and friends Lonny Kay Jensen returned to his Father in Heaven on October 30, 2010, after a two year battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of nearly 42 years Genevieve (Ginnie); son John (Trisha) Jensen, Smyrna GA; daughters Annette (Matt) Deakins, Spokane Valley WA; Stephanie (Carl) Hayden, Newman Lake WA; Janel Jensen, Otis Orchards WA; Mary (Eric) Fosburg, Idaho Falls ID; and Heather Larson. He is also survived by brother Boyd Jensen, Sisters Irene Grames, Connie Bunt, Peggy Pranger, Kris Grigg, and Lisa Erickson; 17 grandchildren and one great granddaughter. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Lonny was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Vena Jensen; brother, David Jensen; daughter, Angela Jensen; and grandson Jaden Deakins. Lonny enjoyed sports and outdoor activities; but his favorite activity was spending time with his family. He is a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He will be remembered for his quick wit, perpetual smile, willingness to service others, and caring personality. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 6, 10 am, at the Spokane Valley LDS Stake Center, 21022 E Wellesley, Otis Orchards, WA.
