Marie A Alsager

Marie was born in Spokane, Washington on January 22, 1929. She lived in many places growing up, but graduated from Lindbergh High School in Valleyford, Washington, in 1946.

Marie married the love of her life, Jerry Alsager, on July 17, 1975 and they spent 43 wonderful years together before he passed away in 2018. They built a home in Deer Park, Washington and later lived in Spokane Valley and Longview, Washington.

Marie was previously married to Art Mahn and had three daughters: Arlene (Greg) in Washington, Audrey (Randy) in California and Anita (Mike) in Montana. She has five grandchildren and multiple great grandchildren.

Marie loved growing things and most of her life had a huge, prolific garden with endless fruits, vegetables and beautiful flowers. Her other passion was knitting. Over the years she handed out hundreds of gifts of cherished items that she had made to friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry, her parents and all five of her younger siblings.

Private graveside services will be held at Pines Cemetery in Spokane Valley, Washington.
