

Paul was born in Colville, WA on April 20, 1942 to Paul Julius Leuschel and Ina Sylvia Savela Leuschel. He attended Central Valley H.S. Paul left Spokane after high school and moved to Seattle where he met his bride to be, Darlene Moos. Together they had two sons, Kevin and James. Paul’s work passion was trucking. He was a Safeway truck driver for over 35 years. He enjoyed spending time at the Valley Elks, fishing, camping, motorcycles, and tinkering with cars. He is survived by two sons, Kevin, his wife Teresa and their three children, Melissa (fiancé Jacob), Brandon, and Renata. Son James and his children James Jr., McCoy and Trinity Leuschel. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
Paul was preceded in death by both of his parents and his wife of 35 years, Darlene M. Leuschel.
Thank you to his grandson Brandon for being his number one caregiver every day. Also thank you to Hospice of Spokane for all of their care and support through it all. You were amazing.
Memorial services will be held at One Church, E. 15601 24th Ave, Spokane Valley, on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 1:00PM. Following the memorial service there will be a memorial celebration at the Spokane Valley Elks Lodge, N. 2605 Robie Rd, Spokane Valley, WA. A private family graveside will take place at Pines Cemetery.
