Steven Michael Kvasnicka, at the age of 74, was called home to be with the Lord November 30, 2025. Steve was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Steven will be missed deeply.
Born June 13, 1951 in Spokane, Washington, Steve grew up in Spokane Valley and graduated from Central Valley High School in 1969. After high school, he went to work for the Railroad. He worked 43 years for the Railroad before retiring in 2013.
Steve enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
Steve is survived by Pamela, his wife of 53 years, son Jeffrey Kvasnicka, son Brian Kvasnicka and his wife Alicia, granddaughter Makayla Kvasnicka, brother Greg Kvasnicka, brother Doug Kvasnicka and his wife Sheila, sister Karen Kvasnicka-Beslanowitch, and many nieces and nephews. Steve is preceded in death by his father Gordon Kvasnicka and mother Nellie Kvasnicka.
A memorial service for Steve will be held Friday December 12, 2025 at Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home located at 1306 N. Pines RD. Spokane Valley, WA 99206 at 2:00 pm.
