Such a fun day sledding with the cousins, Uncle Ron and Aunt Jan. Glad we have this memory of Tina, such a kind soul.

I learned of Tina’s passing today and my memory goes back to when we lived together as missionaries. We weren’t companions but lived in the same apartment. I was having health concerns and needed to keep samples in the fridge (tmi??) and Tina was so very kind and encouraging- she helped us all normalize the situation! She had a ready smile, a strong testimony and such a kind heart. May your family feel her close in all the days ahead.

I worked under Tina as a camp counselor for 3 years. Her laugh was contagious and her passion for her work was inspiring. She helped shape me into a better leader and I will miss her dearly. My prayers go out to her family and loved ones through this difficult time❤️

I had the great pleasure of working alongside Tina on several projects between the library and parks and rec.  We would joke that I was the cynical evil librarian to her optimistic, dedicated Leslie Knope of Parks and Rec.  She was a friend as well as colleague. I shall dearly miss the light and love she brought into the world. My thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time.

Tina offered me the job as intern for Spokane Valley Parks and Recreation in 2019. It was the offer that spurred me to move to WA from IL. That offer changed my life drastically and her believing in me was the catalyst. I loved my experience working with her. Her passion and joy were infectious. My thoughts are with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed.
