Vicki was born on April 19, 1944, in Yakima, WA, to Joseph and Margie (Brown) Wingerter.
At 12 years old, Vicki’s mother remarried and Vicki was adopted by her stepfather Sam Sullens.
She met Bob Haskins in 4H as a young teenager, and they married in February 1961. Together they raised three children.
In the mid-1970s, Vicki received her GED and started college. She graduated from EWU with a BA in Anthropology. Vicki also attended classes at WSU, SFCC and Gonzaga University.
Vicki was foremost a homemaker. She did have various short-term work experiences, including modeling, construction field secretary and later working with survivors of domestic violence. Working with domestic violence survivors was an important part of Vicki’s life.
She spent most of her life caring for her family. Vicki was a good mother, and she truly enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren and more recently with her great grandchildren.
Vicki had a love of animals, enjoyed fishing, photography and was a great cook. She attended all dance and sporting events her children and grandchildren participated in. She loved living out in the country where she could feed and love her horses and mules.
Vicki is survived by her husband Bob; daughters Cindy Perry (Rich), Debbi Haskins and son Bob B. Haskins. Grandchildren C.J. Perry (Alexis), Jesse Perry (Bobbie), Bailey Harder (Jordan), Halle Shepherd (Shane Dempsey), Stephanie Haskins (Carey Fristoe), Jessica Carlson (Doug) and Ben Haskins (Julie).
