Passed away on October 28, 2011. She was born to Buck and Dorothy Shirley (Stockton) in Lindsay, California on September 20, 1943. Wanda was raised in California and Oklahoma. In Miami, Oklahoma, Wanda met the love of her life Gerhard (Gary) whom after nine short days were married happily for 46 years until his death in May of this year. Wanda and Gary enjoyed the military lifestyle for 22 years living all over the country until Gary’s retirement, then settling in Spokane Valley where they lived for 27 years. She enjoyed gardening, roses, traveling around the world, and camping. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son Gary. She is survived by daughters Marie Louise and Lexie; grandchildren Heather, Clay and Bianca; and great grandson Liam James. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00PM on Friday, November 4, 2011 at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines Road. Interment will follow at Pines Cemetery.
