Audie Holton Neuson was born on February 10th 1958 to the late Elijah Neuson Sr. and Mrs. Edna Neuson in Newport, Rhode Island. He was the second of three children; Elijah Neuson Jr., and Mary Evelyn Neuson Green.
Audie was raised in a Christian home under the strict guidance of his parents. He grew up in the Nazareth Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor A. D. Williams.
Audie who was affectionately called “Rip” in Philly, graduated from Olney High School in Philadelphia, PA class 1976 Trojan. He enlisted in the Navy active service from Sep ’76- Sep ’80; he joined the Reserves Sep ’80 – July ’82. He graduated from the Olympic College in Bremerton, WA with an Associate in Technical Arts March ’85. He joined Puget Power PSE April ’95- Feb ’98, he graduated from Olympic College Bremerton, WA Associate in Arts March ’91, he graduated Southern Illinois University Bachelor of Science Sept. ’91. He joined Cascade Natural Gas ’00- ‘05, he joined Williams Dec ’05 – Jan ’24. He graduated Webster University Master of Business Administration Dec 20th ’08.
Preceding him in this new phase of life, parents Elijah Neuson Sr., Mary Edna Neuson, his wife and mother of his three children Hadie F. Neuson and brother Elijah Neuson Jr., AKA Skipper.
He leaves fond memories with his spouse Anjelia Y. Neuson, his three children two sons Alan Cherry and Christian A. Neuson, and daughter-in –law Brhianna Neuson; five grandchildren, one sibling Mary Evelyn Neuson and five brothers-in-law, and three sisters-in-law. He leaves a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
As he would say, “I’m kind of a big DEAL.”
Perhaps you’ve sent a lovely card, flowers, condolences, or have spoken kind words; our family would like to express our gratitude for all of the expressions of sympathy and well-wishes. It has not gone unnoticed. We would also like to send a special thanks to the team at Ball & Dodd Funeral Home. -The Family of Audie “Rip” Neuson.
