Clifford Lee Tate Thackston

Clifford Lee Tate Thackston, lovingly known as Boo to his family, age 42, passed away on May 30, 2025, in Spokane Valley, Washington at his home.

Clifford (Boo), beloved Son, brother, father and uncle was born to Deborha Leverette (Thackston) and Clifford Thackston in Spokane, Washington, on July 7, 1982 at Deaconess Hospital. He grew up in Spokane and attended Rogers High School. Clifford spent his life rooted in a place he called home. His favorite time of year was summer, when he loved to be outside soaking up the sun, gardening, hanging out at the lake/river, or barbecuing with family. He loved the holidays, getting the family together for dinner and being with the ones he loved and cared for most.

Clifford was fun, ambitious, and charismatic. He was a kind-hearted person who made everyone feel welcome. He had a gentle soul and was the life of the party, always with a contagious smile. Clifford was a proud and devoted father to his 13-year-old daughter, September Thackston.

He is survived by his mother, Debi; stepfather, Jan; brother, Heath; sister, Alexis; brother-in-law, Eric; daughter, September; girlfriend, Heidi; and nephews, Kingston and Dawson.

Clifford was preceded in death by his grandparents, two aunts, an uncle, and his godmother.

Clifford’s legacy continues through his close-knit family and all he cherished deeply. He will be missed beyond words, and always remembered with love.
