Cynthia Lee Lown

Cindy Lown, born November 21, 1956, passed away September 3, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She lived a beautiful life.

She married her high school sweetheart, Steve Lown, and together they raised four children. She was a Girl Scout leader, cheer mom, PTA president, and foster mom—roles she embraced wholeheartedly with kindness and dedication. She would do anything and everything for her children and grandchildren, and her love and generosity touched countless lives.

Cindy was born in Wenatchee, WA, and grew up in Spokane, WA, and then later Huntington Beach, CA. She met Steve Lown at Marina HS and got engaged on prom night. She has been the glue to her community and family. She moved back to Spokane, WA with Steve and their four kids in 1992. Together, they ran Action Insurance, All Lines Insurance, and then Auto Licensing Plus. All who knew her loved her.

She is survived by her loving family: husband Steve Lown, daughter Jeanette Short with her husband Mike and children Zoe and Nico; daughter Mandy Martinson with her husband Rob and children Shiloh, Tristan, Lorenzo, and Rosco; daughter Cassie Hilton with her husband Angelo and children Harlow, Gwenna, and Ocean; daughter-in-law Chastity Edwards with her daughter Addy. Also by her brother John Gerson, sister Susan Dwyer with her husband Rick, brother Rod Gerson with his wife Carol Gerson. She now joins her beloved son Garrett in heaven.

Her legacy of love, laughter, and selflessness will live on in all who knew her. She will be remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who always put family first.
