Donna Jean Kyle (Bickel) was born May 17, 1934 in Custer South Dakota. Donna left this world June 20, 2017 in Spokane WA, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Donna was the proud mother of five children; Richard (Kari), Douglas (Laurie), Jeffrey (Cindy), Theresa McGinnis (Michael), Rochelle Rains, ten grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren. Donna lived to spend summers at her lake place with her family and friends. Mom enjoyed chaos and confusion so she always enjoyed family get-togethers at holidays or other occasions. She filled the rest of her time painting, playing cards with friends and volunteering to help others. She will be missed by family and friends. In her adult life she returned to school and began a nursing career, she retired from Sacred Heart Hospital where she worked for nineteen years. After retirement she spent many more years volunteering at Holy Family Hospital comforting families. A funeral service honoring Donna will be held Tuesday June 27, 2017, 1:00pm at Ball & Dodd Funeral Home with interment to follow at Fairmount Cemetery.
