Eddie Cortez

Eddie Ebarbo Cortez “Papa passed Sunday April 21st in Spokane, Washington. Born 4/10/1917 in Austin Tx, Eddie spent his 96 years with no regrets. Eddie spent his adult life married to his soul mate Linda Cordova. An avid golfer and traveler, Ed and Linda lived in many states including Texas, Oregon, California, and most recently settled in Spokane Washington in order to be closer to family.

Eddie is survived by his loving wife of 70 years Linda Cortez, his two beautiful daughters Lorri Mavity (John Mavity) and Rita Conner, his four grandchildren Nicole Ewing, Danika Barrick, Maria Sturgeon and Jeff Conner, and his six great grandchildren.

Eddie left a lasting impact on all who’s lives he touched. He will be greatly missed.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2103 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 3520 E. 18th, Spokane followed by a luncheon and reception.
