Eileen Carol Quorn-Peters

Eileen passed away October 12, 2016. She was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada on February 21, 1922 to Charles & Augusta (McCready) Cowles.

Eileen was a resident of Spokane since 1936. She worked as an accountant for the City of Spokane for 27 years. She was a former member of American Business Women’s Association and American Society of Women’s Accountants. She was a deacon and elder at Lidgerwood Presbyterian Church, a receptionist and board member at Corbin Senior Activity Center and former tour escort for Corbin Tours.

Eileen is survived by son Dr. Kerry “K.C.” Quorn (Sandra) Woodland, WA; grandsons Steven Hildahl (Claudia,) Spokane Valley, Dr. Richard Epperson (Rachelle), Henderson NV, Ian Quorn, Walla Walla, WA, Blake Quorn, Portland, OR, and Brett Quorn, Woodland, WA; four great granddaughters; and three great great grandchildren. She was also very close to nieces Vivian Wick (David) and Joan Atkins (Gordon), both of Calgary, Alberta, Canada; and Dianne Woodman, Victoria, B.C., Canada; as well as several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husbands Chester “Chet” Quorn and Archie “Carl” Peters, daughter Carol Hildahl Epperson and sister Helen Whitehorne.

At her request, there will be no service.
