Gerald was born in Olympia, WA and passed away on January 16, 2018 in Spokane, WA.
He is survived by his wife of 32 yrs., Gilda Gifford, four sons; Santos (Krystal), Gerald Jr., Alek and Mason, Grandchildren; Jaidyn and Mateo. His mother; Francine Champagne, brother; Guy Gifford III and many family members and friends. His father Guy Gifford Jr. preceded him in death. Gerald served as a Wildland Firefighter for the WA State Department of Natural Resources, he enjoyed delivering pizzas, managed and called Bingo for many years and became an RN working for over 20 years in nursing including 15 years at the Spokane Veterans Home. Gerald was a devoted Seahawks fan, avid fisherman and loved coaching his sons. Gerald was a loving husband, father, brother and son. A Rosary will be held on Monday the 22nd of January at 6:00 PM at Gerald & Gilda’s home. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi on Tuesday the 23rd of January at 10:00 AM with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
