Jack Perry Highbarger

Jack Perry Highbarger born February 1, 1942 in Chewelah, WA to Newton and Marian Highbarger. He is preceded in death by his parents, son Eric Richard Highbarger and stepson Brandon James Patterson. He is survivied by his wife Debbie Highbarger, daughter Robyn Highbarger, sons; Jeff Highbarger (Kim), David Highbarger, stepchildren; Pam Hecker (Thom), Chris Patterson and his boys (dogs) Wilson and Tobias. Grandchildren Blaine (Becca) Highbarger, Wes Highbarger, Aaron Highbarger, Jonathan Griffin, Kaylin Patterson, Abby Patterson, Jake Hecker and five great grandchildren. His sister Nancy Campbell (Jim) and numerous nieces and nephews. Jack retired from Kaiser Aluminum (Mead) after 30 years. After retirement, he worked several different jobs and retired permanently in 2005. Jack served in the U.S. Army from 1961-1964. Jack had a dry sense of humor that always kept us laughing. He spent his free time rooting on his favorite teams, the Seahawks, Mariners, Bulldogs and Cougars. He will be greatly missed by many. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Spokane Humane Society or the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation in Jacks name. Visitation for Jack will be held Saturday the 24th @ 11:00 AM at Ball & Dodd Funeral Home, followed by his Celebration of Life at 1:00 PM with interment to follow at Fairmount Memorial Park.
