

Spokane, WA. He was the son born to his mother, Julia Abrahamson. He was raised throughout his younger years on the Kalispel Indian Reservation. He moved to Spokane, WA and attended high school at Shadle Park. At the age of 17, he went into the US Army and learned to be a mechanic on helicopters. Most of his life he was the local auto mechanic, in his hometown located on the Spokane Indian Reservation- where he loved working on vehicles. He is preceded in death by his mother, Julia Abrahamson Swanson, stepfather, Clarence Swanson, the mother of his children, Beverly Madera. He is survived by his sister, Louella Romish, daughter Jamie Abrahamson, son Manuel “Sonny” Abrahamson, stepdaughters, Tonya McDonald,
Nora (significant other, Sharon Flett), grandchildren, great grandson, cousins, numerous nieces, nephews and all that new and loved him. A Rosary will be held on Friday, March 24, 2017 at 7:00PM, at Wellpinit Longhouse. A Funeral Service will also be held, Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 10:00AM, at the Wellpinit Longhouse. His final resting place will be Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Military honor guards will be present.
