Jon Eugene Domanico ,71, had a great love of nature. He loved plants and his apartment was filled with them. Every time I came to visit him he would take me to his plant store. When he was younger he went on many camping trips. Jon passed away on January 24 th, 2024 at Sacred Heart Hospital. His quick passing relieved him from his 3 year bout of throat Cancer.
He was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa. He left Des Moines at an early age and moved out West.. He wanted to be with all his cousins. He eventually settled in Spokane Washington, where he worked as a Carpet Layer. He was no 5 of 6 children. They are: Frank, Melody, Joy, joe and Jason. Both parents are deceased; Eugene Domanico and Helen Ann Companion. He is survived by many nephews and nieces.
We will miss Jon very much. We will miss his great sense of humor, his kindness and his sensitivity.
