Lanny Clegg

Lanny Clegg, 75, of Spokane, WA passed away on August 8, 2021. Lanny was born in New York, to Douglas and Josephine Clegg. He graduated from Whitworth University where he met his wife Julie. Lanny married Julie in 1967 and the couple had 3 children together. Lanny served 3 years in the Army including a year in Vietnam. Lanny had careers as a bank auditor, farmer and home remodeling, which he continued to do for friends and family after he retired. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and was deeply involved in his church. Lanny enjoyed fishing, family trips, and lending a helping hand to anyone who needed it. His family and friends will always remember him as a generous, loving and caring person. Lanny is survived by his wife Julie, of 53 years; his 3 children and their spouses, 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. A celebration of Lanny’s Life is scheduled for 1PM on September 4th, 2021 at Garland Avenue Alliance Church. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Lanny’s life.

The family would like to thank hospice and all the loving healthcare teams that helped Lanny. Flowers can be sent to the church and donations can be made in honor of Lanny to St. Judes, Shriners or any Cancer Foundations.
