Passed peacefully and gently in the early morning hours on September 17, just short of his 93rd birthday. Leland was a strong advocate of world peace, a man of humility, integrity, conviction, and strength. He was born on September 21st, the International Day of Peace.
A memorial service to honor his life will be held October 11th at 2:00 p.m. at Valley United Methodist Church.
