Leslie Les M. Peterson Jr.

Leslie “Les” Peterson (age 88) went to be with the Lord August 27, 2010. He is survived by three children, Karen Spaulding and husband Dwight of Kalispell, MT, Keith Peterson and wife Marcia of Spokane, WA, Craig Peterson and wife Sandy of Boise, ID; four grandchildren, Tamara Horton, Traci Castañeda, Sarah White, Christopher Peterson; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary Hite of Tri-Cities, WA. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Florence Peterson (1997), and two brothers, John Peterson and Charles Peterson. Mr. Peterson served in the US Navy 20 years, retiring in 1962. He later worked as a flight instructor for over 20 years, working out of Felts Field and Deer Park Airport. Mr. Peterson was a longtime member of Northview Bible Church, and was a founding member of Indian Trail Community Church. Visitation will be Thursday from Noon to 8:00 PM at Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home, 1306 N. Monroe St. The Memorial Service will be on Friday, September 3, 2010 at 11:00 AM at New Creation Fellowship, 1515 E. Farwell Rd. in Spokane.
