Marian Cynthia Remmers

Remmers, Marian C. (Age 96) Born in Decorah, IA on June 4, 1916. Passed away on October 13, 2012, in Sunnyside, WA – formerly of Medical Lake, WA. She is survived by four daughters, Geraldine Godley, Spokane, WA, Marianne and Ed Brommer, Reardan, WA, Lorene and Clifford Nilles, Sunnyside, WA, Jackie and Steve Kutz, Belfair, WA; 16 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; 18 great great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Kathleen Side; a good friend, Helen Brooks and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Otto Remmers; son-in-law, John Godley; grandson, Doug Nilles Remmers; brother, Victor Side and sister, Violet Willms. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Medical Lake, WA, Spring Hill Grange and volunteered for Spokane County S.C.O.P.E. A Memorial Service will be held at St. John Lutheran Church, 223 S. Hallett St., Medical Lake, WA, on October 20, 2012 at 1:00 pm. Visitation at Ball & Dodd Funeral Home, Spokane, WA on Friday, October 19, 2012 from 2:00 – 8:00 pm. Graveside Services will be at Fairmount Memorial Park on Saturday, October 20, 2012, at 10:00 am. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church or charity of your choice.
