Marjorie I. Ryan

Marjorie died June 23, 2010 at Hospice House of Spokane, surrounded by her loving family as the angels came to escort her to her heavenly home and gardens. Born on March 8, 1939 to Herbert and Mary Ellen Wendlandt in Reardan, Washington. By witness of her father, the spring’s first bluebird appeared that day. She was raised in the Four Mound area and attended Reardan Schools, graduating with the class of ’57. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Ervin “Bud” (Mary Lou) Wendlandt. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, James Ryan; sisters, Mary Ellen (Dick) Camp, Marion (Bill) Dole; sons, Jeff (Esther), Steve (Cheryl) and Tim; grandchildren, Jedediah (Sarah), Josie, Brandon (Cara), Brittney; two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members; and many good friends. “Mom, thank you for being the center of our family…you will be forever in our hearts.” Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00pm, Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Ball and Dodd Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday, July 1, 2010 at Ball and Dodd Funeral Home. Donations may be made in memory of Marjorie Ryan to the Reardan Chapter FFA Memorial Fund (contact Casey Nonnemacher) or in memory of Marjorie to the Union Gospel Mission.
