

Michael E. Morrison Born in Spokane, WA, September 22, 1934, died peacefully, surrounded by his family on May 8, 2011. Mike graduated from Gonzaga Prep High School in 1952, served in the U.S. Navy and was a draftsman for the City of Spokane for over 30 years. Mike was a caring, gentle man with wry Irish sense of humor. He loved his wife, his seven kids, and cherished his 14 grandchildren, who he took on walks and wrote each of their names with stones in his garden. He was crazy for chess, crosswords, Sudoku, gardening and putzing on the computer. Mike was preceded in death by his father and mother, Edward and Holly Morrison, and his sister Janna Pontieri. He is survived by his sister Terry Morrison; his wife of 55 years Priscilla; his children and grandchildren, Steven (Trish), Theresa Woollett (Gary) (Jessica, Isaac, Rebecca), Anne Telling (Bill) ( Kyle, Simon), David (Lisa) (Connor, Noah, Brianna). Laura Visintainer (Mike Dalich) (Austin, Alexandra), Mara Bischoff (Matt) (Benen, Cole) and Sara Donally (David) (Cascade, William). A Funeral Mass will held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 12, 2011, at St. Peter Catholic Church, 3520 E. 18th Ave., Spokane, WA.
