   Gone from this earth forever, is Rosie's wonderful laughter and sense of humor, which kept laughter going more often than not. She always had a smile and a joke even through the worst of times to get through bad moments. It was a very effective way of coping.
   That is how I choose to remember her because that is the only way I can remember her.
   After not talking for years, that is how I remember our conversation when we spoke about Sarah FINALLY getting married!
   Sorry Sarah, I don't remember any of the jokes back and forth, but there were many, like the old days. Rosemarie was there, and she might remember, but I probably hope she doesn't tell you. You were just the current topic once we got started.
   I choose to remember her that way because all my thoughts about her are those happy times. 
   I am glad that she did not suffer long, because that also means all her loved ones did not suffer long, either. Long term illness is rough on everyone.
   Please remember her for the good times like me, because we know she would not put up with moping for long.
   Finish your mourning soon, and celebrate her life as she would prefer.

I am still in shock that Rosemarie is not physically with us any longer.  Everyone loved Rosemarie.  She was a basically happy, resourceful and loving person.  As a child, I spent many summers at My Aunt Mary and Uncle Eddie's home in Matawan, New Jersey.  It was like heaven to  me spending time with my dear Aunt Mary, Uncle Eddie and cousins.
I haven't seen Rosemarie for many years since she moved from New Jersey.  Life certainly gets in the way.
I fortunately spoke with her this past August when her brother Dominick passed away for 4-5 hours on the phone playing catch up.  She never complained and always found a way to meet life's challenges  head on. I like to think she is back home with her Mom, Dad, her son David, her sister Gloria, her brother Dominick, her nephew, Eddie John, her sister-in-law Harumi and all her relatives who knew, loved and have gone before her.
My deepest sympathy to her two daughters Rosemarie and Sarah, her grandchildren and her siblings Pauline, Bobby,Eddie and all her family and friends during this difficult time.
May she rest in peace.
Cousin Paula E Del Rosso

Rosie my cousin was like a sister to me. We grew up together and went to school together. My family was always over rose's house every sunday for dinner. We would play games and play on the piano. We went roller skating and bowling and movies together. We would end up to be each others maid of honor. She was my son Robert's godmother and her brother Bob was my sons godfather. Where ever rosie was cousin Joanie was right there with her. I would sleep over her house and she would sleep.over mine. Friday night we would play pokeno, with her mother and my mother and us. When she lived in Matawan,  NJ she would call me to come over for dinner at least 2 to 3 times a week.  Those were fun times. I was heartbroken when she moved to Washington because we didnt see each other that much because of the long distance but we managed to keep in touch by phone or cards or letters. When she csme up for a visit this past September we had so much fun, talking about old times and just spending quality time together. She stayed a week at her sister Paulines and her brother Eddie. We had a great time. We said our good byes and we kept in touch and were looking forward to her coming back in March for a family wedding,  but little did I know that would be the last time I would see her. So now I am heartbroken again but I am happy that rose was my cousin and I cherished everything we did together. R I P cousin,  until we meet again. You were my breath of fresh air. You will never be forgotten.
