

Rozella was born May 1, 1918, in Spokane, WA.
Anyone who knew her would say she was gracious, kind and a blessing to all. She was greatly loved by her family, friends and the staff at Riverview Retirement Community. She loved to travel. She and husband Ray took several trips to Europe and spent winter months for many years in Hawaii and Desert Hot Springs. They got involved in community activities and volunteered at the Waianae Methodist Church in Waianae, Oahu, Hawaii. But her favorite place was their cabin at Priest Lake where they spent many years fishing, picking huckleberries, and enjoying special times with family. They also volunteered at Meals on Wheels.
Rozella had a rewarding career of many years with Spokane School District 81. She would say her favorite position was senior secretary to Principal William Taylor at Shadle Park High School.
She was a charter member of Audubon Park Methodist Church. She later was a member at First Presbyterian Church. In later years she enjoyed Sunday Services at the Riverview Chapel led by Pastor Gary Moore.
Rozella was preceded in death by her parents, Anton and Helena Held; son, William Noonan; stepson, Douglas Mohney; son-in-law Bud Ashworth; granddaughter, Sarah Schmidt; sister, Ada Wolfe; and brother, Lawrence Held. Rozella is survived by husband Raymond Mohney at the home; daughter Nancy Ashworth; stepdaughters, Gayle Libutti (Hank), Pamela Mohney; daughters-in-law, Pat Noonan, and Kim Mohney; grandchildren Catherine Dixon (Chris), Susan Anderson (Tracy), Scott Ashworth (Tanya), Kurt Noonan (Erin), Kris Johnson (Bryan), Rick Noonan (Lorrin), Anna Schmidt, Aimee Schmidt, Katie Libutti, Daren Mohney (DeZiree), Andrea Mohney; nieces Barbara VandeVanter (Vern), Bonnie Bell-Andersen (Butch); great grandchildren, Cameron Dixon (Lexi), Courtney Dixon, Taylor Loudermilk, Brennan Noonan, Dalen Noonan, Cori Noll (Luke), Riley Johnson, Bennett Johnson, Abby Mei Noonan, Bekah Noonan; great great grandchildren, Jakkson Dixon, Owen Dixon, as well as numerous great nieces and nephews.
A memorial services will be held at Riverview Retirement Community Chapel, Friday, February 24, 2017, 2:00 p.m., with Pastor Gary Moore officiating. A reception will follow at Riverview.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Riverview Retirement Community or the charity of your choice.
