Sharon Lee Gardner

Sharon was born on July 30, 1933 in Eckley (Yuma), Colorado to parents James Fonrose and Edith Marie. He was in the Army from February 15, 1954 until February 14, 1956. He then moved to Spokane, WA and accepted a position as a custodian at School District 181.

He married Marjorie Lois on June 29, 1957 and they had three children together.

On August 3, 1968, Sharon married Gail Elorene and the couple had one child together.

Sharon is survived by his one living brother, Steve (Pat), in Wray, CO; his children: Glenda Cantagallo of Spokane Valley, WA; Joyce Judge of Beaverton, OR; Tanyia (Jim) Rosenthal of Stevensville, MT; and Timothy (Tamara) of Arizona; his grandchildren, Kevin Matthew, Jeremiah Ray, Kimber L., Joshua, Kayla, Danielle Marie, Teresa Gail, James Andrew, Andrea Paig, Hope and Hunter; and his numerous nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his 6 brothers, two sisters, wives, daughter Christina Ann, and granddaughters Allison and Brianna Judge.

A graveside funeral service is scheduled for 2:30 pm on August 20, 2021 at Pines Cemetery, 1402 S Pines Rd in Spokane Valley. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Sharon’s life.
