Joseph Duane Jensen

Joseph Duane Jensen was born on June 5, 1962 in Menomonie, WI, to Dale and Mary Ann (Smith) Jensen. He graduated Spring Valley High School in 1980 and served in the U. S. Air force as an Aircraft Armament Systems Specialist from 1980 until his Honorable Discharge in 1984. He graduated UW Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1989. He moved to Birchwood, WI in 1997 and he enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the American Legion. He attended the Catholic Church.

Joseph is survived by his son, Andrew Joseph of Eau Claire, WI; parents, Dale and Mary Ann Jensen of Spring Valley, WI; siblings, Susan Johnson of Lakeville, MN, Randy (Chris) Jensen of Spring Valley, WI, Jackie (Tom) Nellessten of Elk Mound, WI, Jerry (Lita) Jensen of Coon Rapids, MN, Anita Liskowski of Nelson, WI, Todd (Kris) Jensen of Wheeler, WI and Edward Jensen of Eau Claire, WI; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and a brother-in-law, Keith Johnson.

A visitation was held from 12:30 until 1:30 pm on Monday, July 8, 2013 at the Dahl Funeral Home in Spooner followed by a Committal Service with full military honors at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 2 pm.
